Sophia is a focused portrait series where small shifts in expression and framing carry the narrative. The work reflects Michelle's interest in creating intimate images with a clear editorial identity.
Creative approach
How the story
was shaped.
The visual direction keeps the subject and her presence at the center. Controlled composition, close observation and subtle variation give the series cohesion without making it feel static.
Light is used as the principal design element, shaping facial structure, mood and separation. The result balances softness with enough contrast to hold an editorial finish.
